Essential Birth Support Package

For parents who want experienced support when labour begins

The Essential Birth package is designed for parents who don't feel they need extensive antenatal preparation, but do want a doula they know and trust alongside them during labour and birth.

It can be particularly suited to parents who have had a previous baby, have already completed antenatal preparation, or are looking for doula support at shorter notice.

what’s Included:

Getting-to-know-you session

A 90-minute session, online or in person, to understand your previous experience, preferences and what matters to you about this birth.

On-call support from 38–42 weeks

I keep my diary clear and my phone close by so that I'm ready to join you when labour begins.

Continuous labour and birth support

Practical and emotional support at your chosen place of birth, including comfort measures, breathing, movement, positioning, massage, support for your partner and help communicating with your maternity team.

Immediate post-birth support

Gentle support as you begin feeding and settle with your baby.

One postnatal session

A dedicated visit at home to reflect on your birth, answer questions and talk through the early days.

Six weeks of continued support

Telephone, email and WhatsApp support as you settle into life with your baby.
