Virtual Doula Support
Personalised support for the questions, decisions and moments that don't always fit neatly into a maternity appointment.
Pregnancy can be surprisingly full of decisions. Where to give birth? Whether to accept a recommendation? What to ask at your next appointment? How to prepare your partner? What happens if your plans change? How you'll feel after birth, and sometimes, simply wondering whether what you're thinking or feeling is completely normal!
There is no shortage of information available. What can be harder to find is someone who has the time to sit down with you, understand your particular circumstances and help you make sense of it all.
That's where virtual doula support can be valuable.
You don't need me to make decisions for you. You don't need another person telling you what you should do. You have an experienced, knowledgeable person in your corner - someone who gets to know you, understands what's important to you and can help you explore your options with greater clarity and confidence.
Why virtual doula support?
Your midwife, obstetrician, GP and other maternity professionals each have an important clinical role in your care.
My role is different.
I offer time, continuity and personalised support around the experience of becoming a parent - the questions you want to talk through, the decisions you want to understand, the preparation that makes you feel more ready, and the moments when everything suddenly feels like a lot.
You might have an excellent maternity team and still want someone who knows you. Someone who remembers what matters to you. Someone you don't have to start from the beginning with every time.
Virtual support can be particularly valuable because it gives you the freedom to access experienced, personalised support wherever you are, without needing me to be physically present at your birth.
You might live outside the area I cover, already have the people you want around you during labour, be planning a caesarean or home birth, or simply want knowledgeable, independent support alongside your existing maternity care.
If you're expecting your first baby, there can be an enormous amount to take in. You may want help understanding your options, preparing for birth and feeling less like you're trying to piece everything together from antenatal classes, Google and conversations with friends.
If you've had a baby before, you already know that experience doesn't necessarily make the next pregnancy or birth predictable. You may want to approach this pregnancy differently, reflect on a previous experience, prepare your partner in a new way, or simply have someone experienced alongside you who understands that knowing what birth is like doesn't mean you'll have all the answers this time.
Whatever your circumstances, my role isn't to steer you towards a particular type of birth. It's to support you in understanding your options, thinking through your decisions and feeling more prepared for the experience ahead - while complementing the care you receive from your maternity team.
Virtual Doula Packages
Power Hour - £60 | 60 minutes
Sometimes you don't need an ongoing package. You just need someone who understands this stuff and has the time to talk it through with you.
Perhaps you have an appointment coming up and aren't sure what questions to ask. You're trying to understand a recommendation. You're considering your options around induction or place of birth. You want to understand your rights. Or you've spent an hour online and somehow ended up with more questions than you started with.
Bring the question.
We'll focus entirely on your situation - what's happening, what your options may be, what you might want to ask and what your next steps could look like.
No generic presentation. No judgement. No telling you which decision to make.
Just a focused conversation designed to help you replace some of the noise with clarity.
£60 for 60 minutes of personalised support.
Birth Preparation & Birth Planning - £90 | 90 minutes
A birth plan shouldn't be a document you fill in because you've been told you need one.
It's an opportunity to think about what matters to you, understand the choices available to you and consider how you'd like to approach situations that may arise.
During our 90-minute session, we can explore areas such as:
How labour and birth work
Place of birth and your available options
Pain relief, induction and other interventions
Informed consent and refusal
Questions you may want to ask your maternity team
Your previous experiences, if you've given birth before
Concerns or uncertainties you want to work through
The role of your birth partner
How you might want to communicate your preferences
This isn't a generic antenatal class or a checklist to work through as quickly as possible.
It's time set aside for your pregnancy, your circumstances and the things you actually want to understand.
You leave with a clearer sense of what matters to you and how you want to approach your birth — rather than simply having a prettier birth plan.
£90 for 90 minutes of personalised birth preparation and planning.
Birth Partner Preparation - £90 | Personalised session
Helping your partner know how to actually support you.
Partners often want to help but aren't necessarily sure what that looks like when labour is happening. This session gives them the opportunity to prepare without the pressure of figuring everything out in the moment.
We'll talk through the practical and emotional ways they can support you, including comfort measures, communication, creating a calm environment and understanding how they can help you communicate your preferences.
We'll also explore how they can work alongside your maternity team and support you if plans change.
Most importantly, they have the opportunity to ask their own questions. The aim isn't to turn your partner into a birth expert. It's to help them arrive at your baby's birth feeling useful, informed and ready to be the person you need beside you.
£90 for a personalised birth partner preparation session.
Antenatal Sessions - £500 | Two in-depth sessions
If you want more comprehensive preparation, these two in-depth sessions give us the time to explore pregnancy, birth and the early postnatal period in much more detail. Click HERE to view more information on my antenatal sessions.
Rather than working through a generic curriculum, we'll spend time on the areas that are most relevant to you.
You'll also have WhatsApp support from me between 9am and 6pm until your baby is born, so you have somewhere familiar to turn when a question comes up between sessions.
Because sometimes the question you need to ask doesn't arrive neatly at your next appointment.
£500 for two personalised antenatal sessions, including WhatsApp support from 9am–6pm until your baby is born.
Postnatal Debrief & Support - £90 | 90-minute video call
The support doesn't have to end when your baby arrives. After birth, you may want space to talk through what happened - whether your birth went broadly as expected, changed completely, or left you with feelings you weren't prepared for.
Our postnatal session gives you time to debrief, ask questions and talk through the transition into life with your baby.
We can discuss:
Your birth experience
Your emotional experience of becoming a parent
Newborn care and understanding your baby's cues
Your physical and emotional recovery
Feeding and early parenthood questions
What feels difficult right now and where additional support may be useful
Where something falls outside my role, I'll help you identify appropriate professionals or local services who can provide the right support.
£90 for a 90-minute postnatal debrief and support session.

If you'd like the reassurance of having the same person alongside you throughout pregnancy, birth preparation and the early postnatal period, the Complete Virtual Package brings everything together.

Individual value: £830 - Complete package: £750 - You save £80 That's almost 10% less than booking each element separately.
But the value isn't simply in saving £80. It's in having one consistent person who gets to know you and remains alongside you throughout the different stages of this transition.
You don't have to start again every time you have a question. You don't have to explain your whole pregnancy to someone new. When something changes, because sometimes it will, you already have a relationship to work from.
You can simply say: "This has happened. Can we talk about it?"
And we can take it from there.
You don't have to navigate every decision alone.
You don't need another person telling you what to do. You need support that gives you the time and space to understand your options, ask better questions and make decisions that feel informed and considered.
You may have excellent clinical care. You may have a supportive partner, family and friends. You may have read the books, listened to the podcasts and done all the research, and you may still want someone experienced who knows you!
Someone you can come back to when you have a question. Someone who can help you make sense of information without overwhelming you with more of it. Someone who can support your partner too. And someone who doesn't disappear once your baby is born.
Whether you want one focused conversation or ongoing support from pregnancy through the early weeks with your baby, virtual doula support gives you a knowledgeable, familiar person to turn to when you need one.
If you're wondering whether this kind of support would be valuable for you, let's talk.
Book a free 30 minute consultation and we can talk about where you are now, what you're looking for and whether working together feels like the right fit.
You don't have to have everything figured out before you get in touch.
