Once we have met and agreed to work together, I will send you a client email to sign and return, along with a deposit to secure me as your Doula.

Not at all. The purpose of the call is to ensure we're a good fit and to answer any questions you may have without any obligation to book.

Yes. I offer a complimentary introductory conversation so we can get to know each other and explore how I may be able to support you.

I require a deposit to be paid with your signed contract, then the remaining balance to be paid two weeks before your estimated delivery date.

Yes, I have been DBS checked. If you require a copy of the certificate, please let me know and I will be more than happy to provide it.

As soon as possible! The earlier you book, the more time we have to get to know each other. However, it is also possible to book right up to your due date if you have a last-minute requirement for a Doula.

Yes, if you need a Doula at the last minute and I am available, I will be more than happy to support you.

Midwives are medically trained healthcare professionals responsible for the health of the mother and baby, delivering babies, and managing medical complications. Doulas provide emotional and physical support, comfort measures, and advocacy, but they do not provide medical care.

If you book birth support, I provide 24/7 on-call availability between 38 and 42 weeks of pregnancy and will join you when labour is established.

No, you can birth wherever you feel most comfortable. I will support both home and hospital births.

Absolutely, I am happy to support wherever you need me, however this must be with the support of your Consultant Obstetrician, and/or the hospital policy.

Yes. I regularly support births in hospitals, birth centres and at home throughout the areas I cover.

Yes. Antenatal support can be provided virtually through Teams or Zoom, making support accessible wherever you are.

Yes. I support families planning home births, hospital births, caesarean births, VBACs and other birth preferences without judgement.

My role is to support you both as a couple. I’m here for your partner as well, helping them feel supported as they support you. If they need a moment, a short break, or to care for other children, I remain by your side so you’re never without care. I’m guided by what feels right for you both and will always be respectful of your privacy and your relationship.

My approach is warm, inclusive and non-judgemental. I believe there is no single "right" way to give birth or become a parent, only the way that feels right for your family.

I go ‘on call’ for my birth clients 2 weeks before their estimated delivery date and up to 2 weeks after. When I am on call, this means I will be available to you 24/7, so you can call/message at any point night or day. During any ‘on call’ periods I remain local, do not travel or commit to any other plans.
